Binga Baskets - Chamai Bowls

Handwoven by the Batonga tribe of northern Zimbabwe, the Binga and Nongo baskets are crafted from natural ilala palm fibres, which are carefully dried and dyed to create its distinctive beauty. Our gourd baskets are uniquely sculpted into the distinctive shape of a Garlic   Each basket carries a unique design, paying homage to the weaver’s individual artistry and skills passed down through generations.
